Group Classes
- One class: $18.00
- 5 class package paid in full 15% off
- Classes are to be paid at the beginning of every class. For package deals, classes are to be paid at the time of the first class.
- We accept cash, check, or credit cards (Checks made out to: Simply Dance)
Private Lessons
- One on one lessons offered on a once a week basis by appointment.
- 30 minutes in length
- $25 per half hour
- 5 private lesson package paid in full 15% off
- Classes are to be paid at the beginning of every class. For package deals, classes are to be paid at the time of the first class.
- We accept cash, check, or credit cards (Checks made out Simply Dance)
- Absentee Policy: Director is required to know that the dancer will not be attending class at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled time in order to avoid being charged. Failure to notify within the stated time frame or at all will result in dancer being charged for the missed class.
Apparel
- No Jeans! Workout and dance clothes acceptable. (yoga pants/capris/shorts, sweat pants, t-shirts/tank tops, body suit, tights) Please no baggy clothes this does not allow the instructor to see your movements and correct them properly. Loose fitting is okay, comfortable fit is also okay, more form fitting is preferable.
- No big jewelry! This can cause injuries to the students, for example big hoops and get ripped out or caught causing injury. Small bracelets, very small hoops and studs, single necklaces are okay. If jewelry looks like it may get caught or break it will be asked to be removed for safety of the student.
- Please keep hair pulled back out of face, up or down is okay as long as not hanging in eyes.
Shoes
Jazz & Lyrical: Slip on/tie jazz shoes, paws, barefoot, lyrical shoes, turners
Musical Theater: Character shoes (no more than 2” heel), Grecians/Paninis, jazz shoes, paws, barefoot.
- For beginner dancers: Jazz shoes and lyrical shoes preferred
Tap: Split-sole tap shoes
Ballet Conditioning /Technique Training:
- Beginners: Ballet Shoes
- Intermediate/Advanced: Barefoot (preferably), paws, ballet shoes, lyrical shoes, jazz shoes**if student prefers they may bring yoga mat as well for floor work
Adult Tap/Jazz: Jazz shoes, Split-sole tap shoes
Hip Hop : Jazz shoes, Sneakers of any kind
Aerial Dance/Tumbling: Barefoot, paws, jazz shoes, lyrical shoes
**Proper foot wear for private lessons and company dances will vary in style and color (if buying new shoes please check with us first on color!)
